Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of using qualasole as a finish possibility with wax over the top? Thanks in advance for your input!:redface:

Qualasole is a good quality shellac friction polish. As such it has all of the same good and bad qualities as any other friction polish. Use it just as you would Shellawax or Hut. Take a look at http://www.woodcentral.com/russ/finish10.shtml to see what I had to say about them.

If you really like their line of products, you might consider using the Qualalac instead. I have not used it myself, but lacquer makes for a fairly durable pen finish.
You can also get about the same results with Deft lacquer from Lowes at a lot better price.
