As I keep finding more info on penmaking. I have noticed some makers have added pyrography to their pens. Has anyone here done that or have ben doing it on a regular basis? I'm interested in this process as well and need to know how and or best trick and tips or even home made jigs to complete these processes.

Later,

Ray K.

I've been playing with this lately. First off let me say if you want to do a good job, buy the quality burning system. Don't even bother with the cheapie burning pens. You can't control the heat and that makes all the difference.
I use the Rasortip duel burner system. You can find it here http://www.treelineusa.com/ Yes they are a little pricey but then you get what you pay for.
