PSI Vertex Bolt Action - New Pen Kit

Has anyone tried this kit ? I know it is currently out of stock in all platings

What's your opinion of it ?

Just wondering because the description of it on the website seems a little "off".

They say:

"And just like the original Click pen, this Bolt Action style features a long 3in. single tube body to let you show off your blank material and craftsmanship."

If you look at the instructions, the tube length is only 2.087" on the diagram.

The original Vertex click tube length is 2.91"

I like long bodied single barrels and was originally attracted to this new kit, but am not going to order if the body is only 2".

I took a look, and would need to hold one but to me it looks like it would be awkward to write with. Like the novelty though.

You could be right, Earl. Thanks for pointing that out. I never noticed.

It is quite a different "grip" design from the Vertex Click (which I like). . I wonder why they changed the design.

Something to be concerned about, perhaps ?
