Default PSI Stopper Kit

Not for me... I'm posting for a friend. The mandrel that comes with the kit is #2MT...he has #1MT lathe.... any suggestions how to proceed. Is there a MT2-MT1 adaptor that can be safely used?
Thanks, Frank

Just checked the McMaster-Carr online catalog. They have an adapter for #2 spindle to #1 arbor.

Hi..thanks. I'm not sure if the mandrel screws onto the spindle or fits the taper. I will try to get more accurate info.

The PSI Bottle stopper mandrel screws onto the Spindle and is threaded 1x8. The MT of the lathe doesn't matter, only the spindle size and threading. Spindle adapters ar available from many sources including PSI.

If you look up the details on the lathe at where it is sold, you will find all the specs you need.
It is more then likely a 1"x8 tpi, do you have any way to measure it.

I came up with 3/4"x16 on the lathe. so....3/4x16 to 1"x8 looks right.
