Has anyone tried the liquid friction polish and sealer from PSI. says it is lacquer based and dries instantly on the lathe. Always looking for an alternative to CA

I've used it. It's easy to apply, and holds up reasonably well. It does build, but not nearly as plasticky as CA.

It's basically lacquer that has been thinned - if you like the result, you can probably make your own at a significantly lower cost.

Epoxy or a UV finish .
Both come with a learning curve and you need to be able to rotate at 50 rpm.
With epoxy I am rotating the project for 5 to 7 days non stop ...

I am not trying to be sarcastic, but normally I try never plan on making anything plain or low end .
I leave that to china ..
