PSI Gatsby click pen

Need to disassemble one and just wanted to find our if there are some suggestions before I start. Seems like I read somewhere that the click mechanism can be damaged rather easily when driving it out.

Thanks for any info to keep me from tearing something up.

Have not had success disassembling one of these. Sorry

I successfully punched out a Sierra click mechanism by stuffing a wad of paper towel down into the click mechanism, and then tapped it out with the largest transfer punch that would fit. Lots of taps, too.

I also failed doing the same thing.

I either got lucky once, or unlucky once.
