The PSI 50 cal kit has a white tube that fits inside the casing and the tranny fits inside that tube. NOT!

There is enough space between the brass tube inside the white tube and the brass tube the tranny fits in so that is not blocking it.

I'm leery of forcing the bullet/tranny further as it will either make it too loose or too tight..

Is there some trick I need to know?

The last one I did I had to set the white tube on the tranny and then move the brass tube to fit. I then marked the white tube where the brass ended and put some medium ca around the mark and moved the copper tube back in.

Works great.

Problem solved.
Evidently there was a small ridge on the brass tube set up in the white tube.
I forced the tranny in from the wrong end, it smoothed out the ridge on the bottom edge and then it worked fine.
