Power Urethane brand glue?

Anybody ever heard of Power Urethane brand glue. I went over to Lowe's tonight to pick up some poly glue and they had 16 ounce bottles of this stuff on clearance for $2.25. Regular price was $16 dollars and change. Never heard of this brand, but I figured for the price I'd give it a shot.

Never heard of it. With the deep price cut it's either not selling very well at Lowes or it is near (or past) it's shelf life...probabably both situations.

It might be find as a general purpose glue. However, I believe I would use caution if I was using this on a project that I needed durability.

While Jerry is probably correct, it could also be that Lowe's changed suppliers and wants to make a buck on something they can no longer carry on their shelves.

If that is the case, the product is probably fine.

I usually find that I get what I pay for. If it is discounted that much, I would question is viability as a glue.

I don't know the brand but it is probably a privat lable anyway. Try it, at that price you can't go wrong well perhaps not.
