I have recently looked into making clay pens and am curious. Can the blanks be turned down or is it too brittle. I haven't found a very in detail article on the process. I found one by a search, but it is sort of vague. Would someone mind looking at this site and let me know if it is close. And maybe expand on the details. Thanks I really appreciate it. www.polymerclaycentral.com/claypen.html

Contact YoYo Spin, he published an artical in woodturning design (issue 2 I think)

No it is not too brittle, but if made too thin and rolled around the tube in layers, it may flake off some while turning... It is much better to be thick.
