My luck with pink ivory ran out -- I've done 15 or so w/o problems but this one split from end to end. So far, the 2nd half of this blank is still fine but relieved it is LOMLs pen so at least not in a customer's hands! Not sure what I could have done differently as I used epoxy for the glue-up, tried to be gentle with sanding/polishing, didn't buff after finishing and it's been in the house since finishing in December. I'm a "believer" now that the stuff just sometimes won't stay together.
