Person's name on pens

I am new to this group and fairly new to pen turning. My wife wants me to make her a couple of pens with her name on them. I will use a decal but the question is do you put her name on both side of the cap or only on one side. She asked me and I did not know what the norm is.

When I engrave a pen, I ask if the end user is right or left-handed, and usually recommend engraving on the side and in the orientation that will face the owner when he writes.

Thanks for the info, I will try the decal just to see how it looks and if I don't like it I will get it Lasered.
