Default The Pens for the Vets holiday packages Done!!!

A while back I volunteered to make 30 pens for our Veterans. I made 30 slim line pens in gun metal and purple heart. The purple heart was recycled from park benches from Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio.

Well done Brian. I am amazed that they used Purpleheart for benches. The finished set is great.

Mark, I was surprised the benches were purple heart as well! There are only a few of the old benches left. Each bench was made up of 8 4"x4" by 6 ft. Weathered to the point that it looked like junk. A lot of it went to the land fill before we figured out what it was. Brian
