pen turning it/bushing mix up mistake

Well, my fellow pen turners, here is a good laugh. I turned some breast awareness pen kits, then changed to the bolt action pen kits, which all seasoned pen turners know use different bushing sets. Well, I some how, sometime in between changing back and forth making pens, I mixed up a bushing. Started seeing on the pens one end larger or smaller then it should of been. So, I stopped, got out the directions in each kit, read them, like we all should, saw that the measurements were given for the bushings, so I matched up the correct bushings for each kit. Now, all is well, yes I hear the snickers and laughter, fellow turners. A leason well learned.

I have yet to have that issue, but probably mostly because I neglected to do a good job keeping track of my bushings when I started, so now, until I get better organized, I have to measure each one each time! LOL

I mark the bushings with a triangular file. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4
This is especially true for cigar bushings.

I just used 30cal bolt pen bushings on a Circuit Blank for a Steampunk Pen. I only screw up the expensive stuff.
