Woodcraft has Locations in Dublin -east Bay end of Bart Line about half mile from station
San Carlos-peninsula
Santa Rosa-north Bay
Sacramento

Rockler in Pleasant Hill, too. Not as good a selection as Woodcraft but they do have some different kits.

Welcome to IAP from another San Franciscan. There is a Woodcraft in San Carlos. It is off the Holly/Brittan exit off of 101 south, get off at Brittan and then turn left into the parking lot before your reach the light. They have a good selection and are very helpful. Nice selection of wood.
The Norther California Chapter of IAP meets in Dublin at the Woodcraft Store. It is a nice group of penturners who come from all over Northern California and Nevada. Lots of information sharing, exchange of wood, etc. Keep your eye on the chapter for the next meeting.
