I have someone who wants me to make them a pen and pencil set. So far no problem. They asked for the pencil to to be a .5 (not a .7). So far in my browsing vendors I have not see a .5. I have found a .2 and a few. 3's but no .5's. Does a .5 kit exist?

Got my order in. Thanks.

Just curious....can the pencil mechanism be used in any pen that uses the Parker ink refill?

In Theory, yes. In practice, some seem to like them better than others. I've been able to get them to work in everything I've tried, eventually, but some take more fiddling than others.

There is also the Pentel conversion, such as shown here. Chuck Key also provides the mandrel and other things needed to do the conversion. I've done 6 of these now and they are a nice pencil.

The pentel is available (IIRC) in .3, .5, .7 and .9 lead widths.
