Hey guys,
Im looking to buy some pen kits and need some advice. There are several different metals that you can buy the pen kit in. Some more expensive than others. I.E. Chrome, Nickel, Sterling silver, Titanium, Platinum and gold. What are the differences between them as far as overall wear and anything else(I know personal preference also factors). Thanks

Titanium (both gold and black), platinum, and rhodium are best for wear resistance. Chrome is good. I avoid all of the others, especially 24k, 10k, and upgrade gold.

Jr. Gents II can be purchased at CSUSA (Craft Supplies). The Jr. Gents II pen uses the same tubes and hence drill bits as the Jr. Statesman and the Retro pen kits. Rhodium, Platinum and Blk Ti are among the best metals. Others are less expensive because they aren't as durable.
