I've seen a pen/pencil kit that had interchangeable pen and pencil inserts. It looked like you could use the same nib and clip assembly for both.
I've made a few pencils using PSI kits and have not been real impressed with the quality of the kit or resulting pencil. I'd like the pen and pencil to be alike in look and function.

Does anyone have the supplier?
Has anyone used this system and what were there experiences?

Thanks for considering my questions. I hope I've posted this in the correct forum.

Have a look at the Bear Tooth Woods website. I believe it is the El Grande ballpoint pen kit that takes a pencil insert. Maybe the pencil insert fits other pens also. I bought the Schmidt 0.7mm insert and it works great for me.

The Berea "Perfect Fit" kit is made to accept either a pen refill or pencil mechanism. Some other pen kits can also be converted to a pencil with a Schmidt DSM 2006 or DSM 2007 (they are slightly different) pencil mechanism.

I hope that helps,
Eric
