Pen kit confusion

I am new to turning and am getting overwhelmed with all of the pen kit choices. My specific question is on the Rockler Manhattan. I want to do their medical inlay blank and the instructions say it is "Designed for Manhattan Chrome, Manhattan Gold, and Elegant Manhattan style pen kits only".. I would prefer to have different finish options. Are there other pen kits that are identical to the Manhattan but just under a different name and vendor? Thanks

That is just what Rockler calls the Sierra kit. It will fit all Sierras. When in doubt look in the library at the charts designed by many people here to give all info about kits. It is a Rhizing kit. Both Elegant and standard kit

If I remember correctly the Sierra knockoffs - Rockler Manhattan and Woodcraft Wall Street - had different threads in the transmissions and that is why I stick to the Sierra.
