Which pen kit

Which pen kits lend themselves best for making watch part blanks for ie there is plenty thickness of resin left when the pen is turned

Sierra vista has a little more then the Sierra

I think the Sierra Vista is pretty good for this purpose.

I have also done a Jr Gent II and an Emperor with watch parts with success.

The Monarch Master from Woodpenpro is advertised as having an exceptionally thick sidewall on the lower barrel. I haven't tried it, but you might have a look at it.
