PEN CHEST

I want a large container with drawers - preferably made of wood- where I can store some of my pens in my home. I want it to be practical and store about 100 pens. I don't want it to be just useful but also something that is pleasing to look at----not the look of a storage container.

I have found them on the internet for $500-2000. Does anyone have a more reasonable source or a source for a plan so that I can make one?

There is a good tutorial in the library on how to make trays for the pens:

I used it to make some pen display case trays and you could use it to make inserts for several drawers. Then build a small case for these drawers.

I don't know about a plan, but I saw an old dental tool wooden draw chest on craigslist a while back. Wish I had bought it. Check it out once in a while. Trying to make something with drawers (even one) would be way over my head.
