After seeing Skiprat's newest venture I decided I would llke to try the panache. CSUSA's site says it requires a 1x6 blank. Since most of the blanks for sale (especially acrylic) are 5" long and less than 1" diameter are you guys using your own blanks or what am I missing [?] [?]

I make the Panache out of the 7/8 acrylic blanks from CSUSA all the time....just takes careful drilling

I made a few and just used 7/8" blanks as well. The widest dimension is about .780" The upper barrel is 2" long and the lower barrel is 2.9" long so any 5" to 5 1/4" blank will do. You just won't have an inch of cuttoff left over!

Another one kicked out of the "man club".[:D][:D][:D]

Good luck on the penache. I made one I use as a "billy club" in the office whenever necessary.[:0][:0]
