I am working on a pen that I will have th paint the inside in order for the brass tube not to show through. I have actually painted he tube and inside the blank. Is there any thing special I will have to do when gluing the tube in the blank? I have done this on other ocassions but have only painted the tube. Afterwards I could still see some brass even if others didn't. I still knew it was there. Thanks for your help.

I have only done this a couple times, but I've had good luck painting the inside of the blank with modeler paint and a q-tip. Easy, you could not see the tube or the glue on the outside of the tube. I use white gorilla glue on the tubes. I am sure that there are other ways, but this works well for me.
