I read some posts here about pre-painting tubes for acrylics. I didn't catch what type of paint to use. So i'll ask the experts, what's the best? What can I use that won't affect the glue joint? Thanks.

If you use CA glue for your tubes, Testor's paint (like we used for models) does not "run" with the CA after it has dried fully.

If you use Epoxy, you can use nearly any paint.

Also, some of us paint the inside of the hole to hide the glue, too.

I tend to use testors too... But I don't do it often anymore... Now that I can get tubes in white, silver, black ti and brass for many kits, I just pick a different tube..

However, I would stongly suggest that if you do paint, like others have said paint the blank (and MAYBE the tube too)... I find a q-tip works great to pain the hole in the blank.
