Osage orange and Bois Darc

Are Osage Orange and Bois Darc the same?? I googled some stuff online and from what I read it appears? to be the same. Can someone clear this up for me? Also can someone recommend a good site to order some blanks for Osage and/or the Bois Darc?

Hi,

Welcome to the site.

Osage orange and bois d'arc are the same. The Osage Indians used this wood to make their bow and bow in french is arc. The litteral traduction of bois d'arc is bow wood.

Look in the classified section, you will find many great wood dealer.

Thanks guys. I have a friend whose brother in law has an oil drilling business goes by the name of Bois Darc. I'll be making those folks a few pens here in the near future.
