Opinions on the Nevus kit

I haven't seen much posted about the Nevus kit from Berea. Has anyone had any experience with it? It looks like it would offer a lot of flexibility to the style of the finished pen. Any pros or cons on the kit?

I bought one or two of the kits a while back but haven't gotten around to them yet. They looked interesting and didn't appear to be too difficult according to the instructions.
