NY Yankee pen.

A woman in my community requested a NY Yankee pen as a gift for her son. The wood is Holly. I used the indexing feature and a marking knife to cut the "pinstripes" on the lathe. Then I ran a black Sharpie down the stripe and turned it down some more on the lathe. I transferred the Yankee stickers on to clear address labels and then applied them to the Holly. 15 coats of medium CA. The top kinda looks like a tattered old uniform. The pen is a CSUSA Jr Gent Ballpoint. Not so great photos.

Love the pen. Gave me some ideas. I could make a Cubs pen for myself. I would have to duplicate the 1908 uniforms, the last time the Cubs won the World series
