Way back when, I worked in a sign shop (for a few years) we cleaned our plastic or plex sign faces etc with white gas and would get rid of 'static electricity attached' chips with a air nozzle that had a radio active chip in it. Has anybody tried using white gas as a replacement of DNA? Has anybody used one of those anti-static-electricity nozzles?

I've worked w/ the air nozzle you're referring to, 'way back when I was painting (NO KIDDING!) Mickey Mouse telephones. They're pretty slick. They're also very tightly controlled, and I don't believe an individual could gain access to them. I know that we also used another de-statitizing system later which did not utilize the atomic particle, but can't recall who made them. Check plating shops, especially ones that operate vacuum metallizing systems. Good luck.
