I recently built one of the new Super Stylus pens from WOODTURNINGZ, and ran into an interesting situation.
The lower blank is over 2" long and you are supposed to press the transmission into it.
I pressed the transmission into the line where I would stop on an Slimline pen. However, the pen would not extend past the nib. So, I pressed it in some more. Still not refill tip. I repeated this process until I finally got the refill to extend out of the nib the correct amount.
After doing all of that, I noticed that the amount of the transmission remaining was less than 1". The upper blank is like the Slimline pen and has to slide over the transmission.
Even though it only has a small amount of the transmission to slide onto the pen still works well.
Hopefully if anyone else tries to assemble these pen kits, they will be aware of this and can deal with it properly.
I will post the pens when I can get them photographed.
