After looking at some of the Majestics made here, and that they now offer a Jr verion of the Majestic, and now offering Baron/Churchill/ElGrande rip-offs (and supposedly a Sierra rip-off called a "Gatsby"), I have to ask:

Are they good? Does the plating hold up?

Are the threads nice and smooth like the delrin threads of a Baron?

Do customers like the double-beaded center band on the Baron clone? (I, for one, don't).

Do the ElGrande/Churchill clones have stronger nib couplers that don't break like the Berea kits?

If these kits have a good reputation, I may give some of them a try, especially the Jr. Majestics.

I don't think there is a definite answer to your questions as to they are so new that not many, if any of us had a chance to turn any of them, much less use them for a time to see if the plating holds up or if the nib couplers are apt to break. As for the double center bands, I don't like them either and probably won't try any for that reason. Just a little too much deco for my taste. If I try any of them it will probably be the Jr Majestic.
