hey all,
i've noticed a new style of 'slimline' at CSUSA under their 'new products' section.
it's called the apprentice roadster. they have finally got some in stock and i ordered some and the bushings to go with it.

i'm wondering, has anyone else tried this new kit yet?
i'm liking the heaftier body it leads to instead of the very narrow band you usually find with slimlines.

ya'll let me know....or i will let everyone know when i get some turned.

I made some of the Apprentice line kits when I started pen making earlier this year. They were a good learning kit line as the are very low cost but I found once I got past the inital learning curve I wanted better quality kits. Most Apprentice Line kits are 24K and the plating wears off very quickly. I also found the clips on some to be very low quality and would bend easy.

As far as the roadster it is similar in size but not the same as the comfort grip made without the grip. I see they have a Gun Metal one... I wonder what kind of plating that is.

If you decide to try it let us know how it is.
