That's a nice new design. I don't like Cross refills much, but the price is good, and cigars are good sellers for me. I'm going to try some.

I'm with Mal. I'm slowly getting rid of everything that uses a Cross style refill. The Parker style is just so much better, especially when you upgrade to the the Schmidt refill (ty Exotic Blanks).

A friend of a friend bought a new business 6 months ago. I harvested some pine cones from his new property, made up some blanks. I gifted him a Knurl that I made out of one of the pine cones.

He stopped me on the street last week, and said... hey, I meant to tell you that pen you gave me is my all time favorite - I just love the way it writes.

While I'd like to think it was the blank, or the fit or finish that made the impression... the reality is that it was the Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 refill I put in it.
