Here is the situation.
I am wanting to make a new pen for my housekeeper, but unsure which kit would be best.
She loves the way that the Baron with the Rollerball writes, but prefers something small like a twist pen.
Is there a rollerball that would fit this bill?

I've heard that gel refills will write much smoother than BP, closer to the feel of a RB. I know you can get gel refills for pens that take Parker style refills, but not sure for the cross style. I know there are some slimline style pens that are 8mm and take parker refills. Hope this helps.

How about a Flattop American rollerball? They aren't as thick as a Baron, but it is a rollerball. I'd recommend the Berea since I'm not a big fan of snap caps. I made my wife one with BOW and she really likes it.

Try something small, like these:

or the Flat Top American from Berea (scroll about 1/2 way down):

I would go with a Double Twist 8mm Euro from Arizona Silhouette and put a gel ink refill in it...
A nice kit to make and it shows off the wood as well...
Another might be a Perfect Fit Convertible... but I feel that has a more masculine look than the Euro.

Thanks everyone!
I'm kinda leaning toward the Americana Rollerball. But may have to go ahead and get a couple of the PFC's just for comparison.
Thanks!
