Need help with the Schmidt DSM 2006 pencil mechanism

I have already ruined one Sierra click pen kit and one Schmidt pencil insert! Does anyone have any experience/how-to/knowledge about using a Schmidt DSM 2006 pencil mechanism with a Sierra click pen? There appears to be a plastic post in the click mechanism that is prohibiting the pencil mechanism from being inserted all the way.

I have installed the click pencil insert in a twist sierra and there is a tutorial in the library on how to do it.

The Schmidt pencil inserts I have will not work with a downward pressure, but will twist and extend the lead.


Richard Greenwald sells the push mechanism. They are a Progresiv II in .5 and .7 mm leads. Have no idea if they will interchange with in a Sierra Click.
