Please help me. I have a Jet mini and I drilled my usual size hole and threaded on my wood. Then I turned this beautiful bottle stopper this afternoon. Now my problem is the thing will NOT come off the spindle (screw thing). We have tried all we can think of to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had this problem also. First put the whole thing in the freezer.

Second if you do not have a strap wrench, attach a piece of belt or leather or thick rubber to a section of "broomstick handle".

After about 1 hr. put the bottom into a vise and wrap the strap around the top. and turn.

Between the cold shrinking the metal and the extra torque of the handle you should get the appart.

Thanks Doghouse, your idea helped. Finally got it off. The thing got so hot it glued itself to the chuck! Finally had to take a fine guitar string and cut through to the screw. Then put it in the freezer overnight and finally could unscrew it! Thanks
