Need help getting started!

Hey guys! I really want to get into woodturning and ecspecially penturning full time. ive only been able to do it sometimes at my school.

How would you recomend starting?

What would you recomend buying first?

Where could i advertise my pens to sell?

I'd start in the Library, Penturning 101.
And get a lathe...that will be the biggest purchase to start. After that, it's just selling your kids (if you have any) to keep buying pen stuff!:wink::biggrin:
Lot's of post on lathe purchases of late so tons of recent info to be had.
See if there is a club in your area and hang out with those guys...you can turn of a few different machines and see if you have a preference.
