today i started to make my first americana penwhen i read the instructions step three cut a 1/8tenonon the end of the short barrel i dont have a short or long barrel they are the same both are 2 1/16 long is this right or should i have a short and long tubeing thanks olejon

actually if it is the ball point (twistpen) the tubes are the same length do not worry about it and just part the tendon on the tube you turn with the larger diameter bushings.

If rollerball something is wrong they should be different lengths, and you might have problems with either the ink cartridge fit, or the snap cap, contact CSU for Replacement tubes.
