I hate this phrase, but "studies show" that if your page doesn't load in less than 8 seconds, you'll lose a visitor. Keep in mind that only about 60% of Internet users are connected with something faster than a modem and watch those page load times.
That's a nice page, Alain, but it will take 49 seconds to load on a 56K modem.
All the fancy stuff like rollovers and such requires javascript. All those scripts are objects and you have 40 of them on that page. Those alone add 8 seconds to the load time. SiteKreator makes it easy to add that stuff, but it may not always be obvious what the cost may be in terms of page load times.
Just my two cents, and that's pretty close to worthless!
