My Craigslist find

Today I happened across two posting by the same person. One for a DeWalt Miter saw and the other for some pen turning stuff. So I made a deal with the guy to make the purchase.

I got the following:
DeWalt miter saw and stand
Apprentice VS mini lathe
Blank drilling vice
Pen press
Apprentice pen turning starter kit (missing one pen kit)
Looks like a grab box of 20+ blanks
9 acrylic blanks

Cost to me $250, savings of over $500
The saw and stand have never been used. The lathe and accessories have very little use if any. Guy said he tried to make one pen, and gave up.

Kool beans. You maybe should make him a pen just to show him it can be done.
You never know........he might want to buy more once he sees your work.
