I am curious what some of you do with the Mont Blanc Pen Cap and clip. Do you add a drop of glue into the cap nut so the clip doesn't move and the cap doesn't unscrew?

Mike, I just twist the cap on tight. I don't see anything wrong with adding a drop of CA to the screws. As a whole I don't carry or use my pens on a constant basis so I don't know if there is a problem with the caps/clips loosening. Have you noticed a problem? Kirk[8D]

I find that sometimes they loosen and then the clip could spin and damage the wood on the upper barrel. I sometimes use glue and sometimes don't.

Mike...I use Lok-tite from Home Depot. It makes the pen difficult but not impossible to take off. I find it has a million useful purposes around the house.

Lok-tite would be one method but make sure that you buy the removable type . Some of the lok-tites are permanant and it takes heat to remove something which is something we can't do with a wood pen .
