Today I discovered the modified slimline technique, and I absolutely love the idea and it will surely be how I do slimlines from now on.

Except I'm not a big slimline fan in general.

I really like PSI's "Big Ben" and it uses the same type of transmission. I'm thinking the same exact technique could be used on it. But I'm currently out of Big Ben kits so I can't look at it to be sure.

Has anybody tried a "modified Big Ben"? Any surprises or gotchas?

There are several ways to modify slimline. I do about 25 different mods. Be a little more specific. Which modification?

My guess is the one piece slimline. If so, then yes a one piece cigar is quite doable as is most any two barrel twist ballpoint. Lots of information is available.

Oops! I'd heard about "modified slimlines" and when I went searching found a whole bunch of videos on the one-piece mod and no mention of other mods so I thought that was what was meant by the term.

So yes, the one-piece mod is the one I meant.

Thanks for the quick answer despite the vague question!
