Any chance someone out there has a nib coupler trim ring from a Jr. Gent II, Rhodium non-posting Fountain pen? Got a kit with a piece missing and the vendor has no extra parts. To buy another kit will cost me almost $30 w/shipping and that doesn't get me anywhere. It's quite small so you could tape it to a small piece of cardboard and send it in a #10 envelope for a stamp or 2.

Was thinking some of you guys who modify pens might have one lay.ing around

If you happen to have one, I'd be glad to pay you for it and your time and postage. Just let me know how much.

If it is a decent vendor they should send you a new kit, free of charge if the package was missing a part.
I've had similar things happen and the vendors I buy from always send a free replacement, no questions asked. If I were you I would ask for a replacement from your vendor.

I agree, vendor should replace the kit. If I were the vendor I would just take one out of a kit, send the part, and trash the kit so someone else didn't get it.
