There isn't a serviceman or woman that wouldn't be proud to carry one of these, depending on their theater of service.
Great job - not only for the idea, but for the quality job of segmenting.

The colors/shades look spot on. What materials did you use? Corian?

They look great on the bullet pens. You could also combine them with service-specific clips (i.e. the USMC Eagle, Globe and Anchor).

The material came from Penn State. It is there High School Colors
