Belonging to a woodworkers guild I have the pleasure of working with some high school students in a mentoring program. Andrew and Thomas are a senior and sophomore respectively. Last night we did pens. These are their first pens.

Pens Berea Sierra Grip and Glacia, acrylic acetate swirl blank. Tubes glued with 5 - min epoxy. Carbide turning tool. MM wet through all grits and final buff n polish.

Nice pens & good on you Butch!
Such mentoring programs are so important & we could use a lot more of them as well as folks like you to step up and support them.

Wonderful pens! I was at Berea earlier and I think I picked the same blanks !

Hope my pens come out 1/2 as nice as yours!

Great day when you can teach another! Good for you!
