A woodworking friend of mine that doesn't turn asked me if I knew of a pen kit series that offers fountain pen, rollerball and pencil kits. And perhaps even a letter opener.
Evidently he has a prized piece of mahogany that he'd like to have someone make him a set of writing instruments made from this board like they were "plucked" out of the board. He envisions cutting the pen blanks out of the board likely with a scroll saw, having the pens made from the blanks and then taking the remaining board and making that into some type of tray that the pens would rest in when not being used. So that they are relatively in the same position as when the board was whole. If that makes sense.
Any suggestions on a kit family that offers all three kits within a style?
