Manzanita Burl

Hey All,

Is Manzanita Burl any good for turning?

Once it is dry is it stable enough to make pens.

Any info or characteristics or turning properties would be great.

I like it. Very hard, polishes to a shine easily but may have rock inclusions and most have cracks which can be turned into "design opportunity"
