I have spend an year reading and writing notes about kit-less pens. I had 3 hours between my chemo treatments so i tried to make the nib section.

first i used the wrong material but the i was not the issue i had . it was the drilling of the three different id to fit the feed.

with time to spare i was able to square the front and drill the three dis holes and thread the 5mm thread to hold the feed. the only i screwed up on was the taper so the converter fit snug Next time!

Hopefully i will have the process down by then my chemo treatments end so i can show a new line of writing instruments to my clients

What blank material are you using?
I started with PR cause it was what I had plenty of, and if you can do PR blank threading...you have pretty much nailed everything(well wood is a different animal).

I don't have a good count on the number of 'nib sections' I have had to toss it the trash? But it was more then I care to admit too!!! So, keep trying.
