majestic question

I just made my first Majestic pen and it turned out perfect( Picture to follow) with one exception. The metal band of art work in the centerband spins within the edges of the centerband. Is this typical of the Majestic or is it a flaw in the kit?

This happens some times, it just needs a firm press if you have some thick leather cut out 2 bits place them on both ends to protect plating then put it back into the pen press and give it a firm press.

It has happened to me too. I basically got the tip of my razor knife, dipped it into a little thin ca and slid it into the crack. You have to use an eye loupe or you will get ca on the ring.
