Majestic center band

OK, so I bought a Majestic pen from Rockler, and the Ti center band is loose. I mean, it spins freely around the chrome looking part (or whatever plating it really is). Does the centerband itself come apart? I came as one metal piece, so I don't see where it could be a matter of it not being pressed together enough.

I tried to disassemble the one I made, but sadly I had no luck. Ended up scraping the blank and plan on getting spare tubes. But I don't want to bother starting over if the band's something that needs to be fixed/ replaced first...

if it is the jr or the full size it is like the jr gent in that the centerband comes apart. it can be pressed back together.

Good to know. I'll try pressing it then. It doesn't look like the centerband comes apart, but I'll take your word for it.

The center ring does comes apart, some times the bands are loose, and it's a easy fix l use the bushing that is used for turning the pen, put a bush in the top of the cap to press the parts together.
