Loose Caps???

I remember awhile back there was a discussion about caps coming loose on pen kits such as the Baron, Jr gents and such. I am getting some complaints about this particular problem and these are fairly new kits from CSUSA. I also remember some people were using O rings and then someone came up with a silicone idea. I was wondering has there been any update as to this use and has it been a cure for this problem because it sure does not look like the manufactorers did anything. Or has anyone come up with any other ideas for this problem or am I the only one having this problem??? Thanks for the replys in advance. Have a great day.

the last many kits I've bought(jr gents) seem to have had the new "squared" threading and I've not noticed an issue. Does not help much sorry, just my experience as of late

Try looking in the library , George (texatdurango) has a fix for some of those problems using silicone caulking .

I don't think the manufacturers are doing anything other then the "squared" threading. I haven't tried any fixes so I can't tell you anything about those. I like George's idea best.

I use the simple O-ring ..it's cheap & works and is avail in any hardware store
