I'm going to be making 11 clicker pens with metallic silver acrylic. The problem is the clicker pens have a thin wall when finished and the metallic silver acrylic can sometimes show through when it gets that thin.

Anyone know where I can get silver painted tubes or if the white painted tubes will work? If I paint them first, do I use spray and brush paint and what type??

Thanks a lot.

I regularly use just plain old grey auto primer. Not had any issues. It is sandable so you can give it a light "scuffing before you glue. I don't usually but some say it is needed. This works for me, results may vary.

CA Paints

You might try model RR paint...It was made to paint metal kits that were glued together with CA...the CA didn't seem to affect it at all.
